The third section of the exam paper will test your ability to apply a specific methodology for resolving disputes. This section is divided into six parts, (a)-(f).

Questions 8a & 8b

Parts (a) and (b) will ask you to identify points of corroboration and points of conflict.

Questions 8c & 8d

For parts (c) and (d), you will need to analyse the balance of evidence and the weight of evidence respectively.

Questions 8e & 8f

Part (e) will then ask you to assess the quality of evidence on either side of the dispute; part (f) will ask you to conclude with your reasoned judgement.
